We were the alcoholic wives and many of us thought this chapter didn't concern us. But what is it Herbert Spencer said about "contempt prior to investigation"? It leaves us in a world of ignorance. So let's keep an open mind and get into it!   p.s. replace "husband" with "the alcoholic" in your mind....it helps. Today we pick up on page 106 and discuss the 4 types of "alcoholic husbands".

It's funny because if you knew her at 2 years into her journey of recovery you wouldn't think these two women were the same person! Just goes to show a LOT can happen on our journey on the road to recovery. Karolina's story is not unique, save for a few minor details (husband, kid) her story could be my story. We came here got dry before we got sober before we got emotionally sober and got on the path to spiritually fit.   Time takes time and God works on us when we let go and let God.     Let's listen in.
