The road to Croke Park continues this Saturday (25th July 2026) as four of camogie's leading counties battle for a place in the 2026 Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship Final.

FBD Semple Stadium, Thurles will host a mouth-watering double-header on Saturday 25th July, with Galway taking on Kilkenny at 4pm before Cork and Tipperary face off at 6pm. Both matches will be broadcast live on RTÉ.

With a place on All-Ireland Finals Day at Croke Park on Saturday 9th August at stake, there is no margin for error as the remaining four contenders bid to keep their championship dreams alive. 

Galway and Kilkenny renew their rivalry in the opening tie, with the Cats bidding for their first final appearance in 2022. The Tribe are bidding for back-to-back titles for the first time in their history.

Galway camogie captain Carrie Dolan chatted to Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly.

Racing in Ireland on Tuesday is in Ballinrobe (21st July 2026).

The features are the €15,000 RBC Brewin Dolphin Rated Novice Hurdle at 6.09, and the €15,000 Boyle Sports Home of Early  Handicap Hurdle at 6.39.

Nine-year-old Cillian Hirst from Maree, and representing Athenry Golf Club, will head to Pinehurst, North Carolina next week (Thursday, 30th July - Saturday, 1st August) to take part in the US Kids World Championship.

Playing for just over two years, the young golfer has made an impression with Irish and European glories to his name.  And his ascent up golf's junior rankings sees him earn his qualification for the World stage for the second time.  And he has already earned a slot again at the 2027 event.

Cillian and his dad Joe joined Galway Bay FM's Darren Kelly for a chat ahead of the World Championships.
