Then we dive into the bigger pattern: Hollywood’s obsession with remakes, race-swaps, and rewriting the meaning of stories people have loved for generations—from Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey casting choices, to Greta Gerwig’s Netflix Narnia rumors (yes, Aslan potentially voiced by Meryl Streep), to the new Animal Farm film that appears to blur Orwell’s clear warning about communism into a “both sides” critique that conveniently lets the villains off the hook.

We need better options for our kids. We need creators with courage. And honestly? We might all need to start buying VHS players again.
