Let us tell you about all of the great and the good from the Paris motor show, including that new Citroen 2CV, the Renault E-Space, Alpine's A310 supercar and a whole lot more.

Porsche finally revealed what it's going to do next with the Mission S concept. A new supercar that's rumoured to sit above the 911 in the range and could spawn a whole new family of mid-engined models. Meanwhile, Tesla once again came out with another elaborate PR stunt in the form of the Roadster. 

As for the rabbit hole, what do you get if you cross a Lamborghini Diablo with a Mercedes-Benz S-Class and a Dakar rally car? The 1992 Aixam Mega Track if course, though we’ll forgive you if you’ve not heard of it.

We've been to some epic car shows over the years but one by one they are slowly becoming worse. We're not talking about people crashing at Cars & Coffee events, we're talking about costs. Everything for motorists is getting more expensive, including the shows.

Today AMG is the high-performance division of Mercedes-Benz, but way back in the ‘pre-merger’ days, it was a tuning gun for hire and turned its hand to many things. One of the most unusual is the Mitsubishi Debonair V 3000 Royal AMG. Yes, AMG tuned a Mitsubishi.

We cover that in this week’s podcast, and we also delve into one of Japan's ultimate “what if?” supercars: the Yamaha OX99-11. This 3.5-litre V12-powered beauty had tandem seating, a 349km/h top speed and would have been remarkably expensive. Unsurprisingly, it never happened.

Every so often, a car comes along that sets a new standard for performance, or in this case, efficiency. As a well-known fan of the Volkswagen XL1, Dave runs us through the Mission Efficiency in this week’s podcast, a one-off car that sets a new standard for what a near-production electric car can do.

In stark contrast, Cormac looks back at the audacious Cadillac Sixteen concept car shown above. Created in 2003 to mark the company’s centenary, this front-engined behemoth used a 13.6-litre V16 engine producing 1,000hp.
