110 - bravery
It’s all been done before. There’s nothing new. We just can’t find anything original to present to the world. Everyone else has got a great offering. Everyone else has got it sussed. They’re doing all the things. Are we just copying? Are we offering the same old, same old? So why do it at all? Hang on though, let’s consider this, maybe doing it our way IS the original part. We’ve seen a million reels on Instagram, a gazillionty million paintings, landscapes, abstracts, workshops, courses, we berate ourselves and ask repeatedly “why would ours be any better?”. Well, here’s the thing-it doesn’t have to be, it just has to be from you, not a comparison, not a competition… just your version of the thing. Surely THAT’S what makes it original. People connect to the person, it doesn’t have to be perfect, it has to be real. Wow. There’s a revelation. Next question… how do we show who we are, in natural way? Eek… that’s another conversation. Now, as always, we invite you to tell us how you feel about this, there’s lots more to chat about.
