Welcome back to another episode of Inside The Bus. This week we have a shorter episode for you as the majority of the crew is in Pittsburgh for the NFL Draft. Jack, Mitch, Coop and Chef all go through who they want each of their teams to draft. Jack and Chef, being Titans, fans are stuck on who they want Tennessee to draft with the 4th overall pick. Coop is at an all time high in pessimism for his Cardinals who have the 3rd overall pick. He believes that somehow, the Cardinals will manage to mess it up. Mitch gives his take on who he wants the Chiefs to pick who somehow have the 9th overall pick. The guys share who they all think the biggest busts have been for their respective teams and just biggest busts in general. In this episode of Bussin’ With The Boys, Taylor Lewan and Will Compton travel to Miami, Florida! Mario Cristobal sits down with The Boys to discuss last year’s wins, next year's expectations and where the Hurricanes have seen improvement in the offseason.
In the intro, Will Compton and Taylor Lewan preview the NFL Draft, They call Delanie Walker “The QB Guru” to get his take on Ty Simpson’s draft stock. Afterward, The Boys give their Clean Takes (thank you, Kevin’s Natural Foods) and say Jacob Rodriguez is the STEAL of the 2026 NFL Draft.
Mario Cristobal pulled up and gave a masterclass. We got into how Miami really operates with defensive and offensive meetings, what it means to conduct elite practices, and why recruits need to see it live. He told the full Penei Sewell recruiting story and broke down how he identifies guys with the right DNA, mindset over hype. He didn’t duck anything either, from NIL and the idea that ball is still ball, to bouncing back after tough losses and the mentality inside the program when it matters most. We also hit on building Miami the right way, locking down South Florida, finding coaches that actually fit, and why he feels like he owes the program.
There are gems all over this one. From the Carson Beck transfer conversation to two freshman OL already making noise, plus his longtime relationship with his OL coach going back to high school. With Jack and JP back, they dive into what Bussin's Spring Tour was like and some of the things they got to do/see. Each of them give their rankings of their favorite school and coach, some of the answers may surprise you. Jack and JP also get into what coach they would most want to play for but there is still one coach that reigns supreme. After that, Mitch gets into his weekend with Supercross in town.
