Trying Harder Isn’t the Answer | What Jesus Meant by “Abide in Me” (John 15 Bible Study) [S4 E50]

    13/03/2026 | 26 mins.
    Hey Sis 💛

Have you ever felt like you are trying your hardest to live the Christian life… but still feel exhausted, discouraged, or spiritually dry?

Many believers spend their lives trying to produce spiritual fruit through effort, discipline, or sheer willpower.

But in John 15:1–17, Jesus reveals something that completely changes how the Christian life actually works.

In today’s Bible Study with Me, we walk through Jesus’ powerful teaching about the vine and the branches and explore what it really means to abide in Christ. Together we’ll look at how God prunes believers, how the Holy Spirit produces fruit in our lives, and why remaining connected to Jesus leads to a life filled with lasting joy.

✨ In this episode we explore

    • A biblical affirmation rooted in John 15
    • Why Jesus calls Himself the true vine
    • What it means to abide in Christ daily
    • How God prunes believers as part of sanctification
    • The fruit the Holy Spirit produces in our lives
    • Why Jesus calls His disciples friends
    • The kind of joy that comes from remaining in Him

    📖 Soul Reflection

Where in my life am I still trying to love, be joyful, find peace, show kindness, or exercise self-control without first abiding in Jesus?

Take a few moments to reflect honestly on the areas where you may be striving in your own strength, and invite Jesus to be the source of your strength, wisdom, and growth.

The Peace the World Can’t Give You | John 14: 15-31 Bible Study [S4 E49]

    12/03/2026 | 26 mins.
    Hey Sis 💛

Have you ever wondered how believers are actually able to live the Christian life?

Because if we are honest, trying to follow Jesus through our own discipline, effort, or willpower often leaves us feeling discouraged.

In John 14:15–31, Jesus prepares His disciples for something that must have been incredibly confusing and heartbreaking. He tells them that He is leaving.

But in the middle of that moment, Jesus makes a promise that changes everything.

A promise that would transform how believers live their faith, understand obedience, and experience peace.

In today’s Bible Study with Me, we walk through this powerful passage together and explore what Jesus meant when He spoke about the Holy Spirit, obedience that flows from love, and a peace the world simply cannot offer.

✨ In this episode we explore

    • A biblical affirmation rooted in John 14
    • Why Jesus connects love and obedience
    • The promise Jesus gives before His departure
    • What it means that believers are not left alone
    • The role of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer
    • The kind of peace Jesus leaves with His followers

    📖 Journal Prompt
Where in my life do I need to receive the peace that Jesus offers instead of the peace the world tries to give?

Take a few moments to write honestly about what may be troubling your heart, and invite the Holy Spirit to help you rest in the steady peace that comes from trusting Jesus.

Ask Anything in My Name? What Jesus Really Meant | John 14:1-14 Bible Study [S4 E48]

    11/03/2026 | 26 mins.
    Hey Sis 💛

Have you ever wondered what Jesus meant in John 14 when He said, “Ask for anything in my name, and I will do it”?

In today’s Bible Study with Me, we explore this powerful passage from the Gospel of John and unpack what it means for Christian prayer, faith, and trusting God’s promises.

If you have ever tried to understand prayer or wondered what it truly means to pray in Jesus’ name, this scripture study helps bring clarity to one of the most quoted verses in the Bible.

✨ In this episode we explore:

    • A Biblical affirmation rooted in John 14
    • Why Jesus tells His disciples not to let their hearts be troubled
    • What Jesus means when He says He is the way, the truth, and the life
    • Why believers will do greater works after His ministry
    • What it truly means to ask for something in Jesus’ name
    • Why context matters when reading Scripture
    • How prayer becomes participation in God’s work

Sis, prayer was never meant to be about controlling outcomes.

It is an invitation to partner with God in what He is already doing.

Would People Know You Follow Jesus by the Way You Love? | John 13:18-38 Bible Study [S4 E47]

    10/03/2026 | 24 mins.
    Hey Sis 💛

Have you ever been completely confident in your faith… only to later realize you weren’t as strong as you thought?

In today’s Bible Study with Me, we walk through John 13:18–38, a powerful and honest moment between Jesus and His disciples. In this passage, Jesus reveals that one of the men sitting at the table with Him will betray Him. Shortly after, Peter boldly declares that he is ready to die for Jesus.

But Jesus responds with a sobering truth.

Before the rooster crows the next morning, Peter will deny even knowing Him three times.

This moment reminds us that faith is not built on our own strength or confidence. It is built on our dependence on Christ. Even when we fall short, Jesus already knows our story from beginning to end and speaks redemption over our lives.

Peter’s failure did not cancel his future. In fact, Jesus was already pointing toward the restoration that would come later.

✨ In this episode, we explore:

    • A Circle Time style biblical affirmation rooted in John 13:18–38
    • Why Jesus predicted His betrayal before it happened
    • The humanity of Jesus as He faced betrayal and heartbreak
    • What Peter’s bold promise reveals about our own faith
    • The powerful meaning behind Jesus asking Peter, “Die for me?”
    • How Jesus was already speaking reconciliation over Peter’s future
    • A devotional reflection titled “Die for Me?”
    • A journal prompt to help you reflect on God’s grace when you fall short

Sis, one of the most beautiful truths in this passage is that Jesus already knew Peter would fail… and He still chose him.

Our failures never surprise God, and they never cancel His grace.

Would You Still Praise God When Life Isn’t Going Right? | John 13:1–17 S4 E46]

    09/03/2026 | 27 mins.
    Hey Sis 💛

Have you ever stopped to ask yourself…

Would you still praise God if everything in life wasn’t going right?

In today’s Bible Study with Me, we open to John 13:1–17, one of the most powerful moments in Jesus’ ministry. In this passage, Jesus kneels down and washes the feet of His disciples. The King of Kings takes the posture of a servant.

In the ancient world, washing someone’s feet was a task reserved for the lowest servant in the household. Yet Jesus chose to model humility and sacrificial love in a way His disciples would never forget.

This moment reveals something deeper about the heart of God and about the kind of life believers are called to live.

When we truly understand how deeply we are loved by our Heavenly Father, it changes how we show up in the world and how we love others.

✨ In this episode, we explore:

    • A Circle Time style biblical affirmation rooted in John 13:1–17
    • Why Jesus washing the disciples’ feet shocked everyone in the room
    • What true humility looks like in the life of a believer
    • How knowing you are loved by God changes how you treat others
    • Why Jesus calls His followers to serve one another
    • A devotional reflection titled “Living Like You’re Loved”
    • A journal prompt to help you reflect on God’s love in your daily life

Sis, when you know whose you are, you move through life differently.

When we understand the depth of Christ’s love for us, it begins to shape how we love and serve others.

Grab your Bible. Grab your journal. Let’s lean in together. 💛
