Welcome to the 57th episode of Cuberviews, a podcast where I sit down with friends to explore the world of Magic: The Gathering cube design! Today I am happy to be joined by Andrew, also known as Warren Fish, to discuss Melded Mardu Monarchy, a Mardu color restricted cube, which as the name suggests, is very focused on meld cards and the monarchy mechanic. In this episode, we discuss how to implement monarchy in your cube without having it feel oppressive, how adding meld pairs can add some extra spice to your cube, why Andrew has chosen to not include ways to cheat creatures into play for less than five mana besides Kaalia, and much more!
