Finnish with Eemeli is a podcast aimed at intermediate Finnish language learners as a bridge between the beginner and advanced levels.
I speak only in Finnish and the idea is to explore a variety of interesting topics, so that you can enjoy listening to them while learning Finnish at the same time.
As a Finn who has spent more than half of my adult life living abroad, I understand how challenging it can be to learn a new language. Through passion and a lot of trial and error, I became pretty good at it. I decided to share my own learning methods with others. While working as a tutor, I realized there was a significant lack of language resources for intermediate learners. Materials like Selko Suomea were often too easy, while regular Finnish media felt too hard and advanced. Thus, Finnish with Eemeli was born to provide a robust resource specifically aimed at intermediate Finnish learners.
I hope you enjoy it!
