Almost two years ago we had a really good session on the SAP Deployment Automation Framework. SDAF helps customers to quickly deploy SAP sytems - not only for test and demo environments, but production ready, high available systems. All of this is available open source on GitHub. Now some partners have taken the code, collaborated with us and build tools and applications around this. Today we want to talk about this with Stergios and Kimmo.

Sending emails from your SAP system is something that is required for sending alerts, notifying users about new workflows or sending invoices to customers. In the past, many customers just connected their on-prem Exchange server to it and that was it. With the shift to Exchange Online several new requirements were introduced which changed the setup and configuration quite a bit. In episode 283 of our SAP on Azure video podcast we talk about AI with SAP Supply Chain at Microsoft for ECC.
We have talked in the past about the Joule and Copilot integration and what overwhelming interest we are hearing from customers. Our regular viewers might have wondered what we are doing with the Joule integration at Microsoft and you might remember, that -- while we have lots of SaaS and also S/4HANA systems running RISE on Azure at Microsoft -- we also have a really important ECC System. We are already working on moving it to S/4HANA, but this will take some time. So our Supply Chain Team explored what they can do to still enable a Copilot interaction with the SAP System and invented Stratus AI. To tell us more about this, I am glad to have Alex Bitiukov and Ryan Murphy with us here today.
