Arson attacks, air space violations and assassination squads: Those were among the warnings from Poland's Foreign Minister, Radek Sikorski, at a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Ireland today. This comes just after Germany announced that it was in fact Moscow behind last month's attack in Leipzig Airport, where an explosive drone was found near two Ukrainian cargo planes. None of this surprises Czech Republic President Petr Pavel, who told us back in April that Putin likely would attempt increasingly bold campaigns against NATO. US Army Secretary Dan Driscoll resigned yesterday following months of clashes with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. Five days after catastrophic flash floods swept along the Nepal-Tibet border, the true extent of the devastation is becoming clear. More than 4,000 people are still missing, and more than 900 are confirmed dead. A major push is being made to reach hundreds of workers believed to be trapped in hydropower tunnels which were submerged in thick mud during the floods.
