  • Underwater (2020) Review
Monster Movie March Madness continues this week with 2020’s Kristen Stewart driven Underwater. This movie is honestly (and a little unexpectedly?) terrifying! With or without thalassophobia, so many of this scenes are absolutely chilling. PLUS secret C*****u movie! (yes I censored that in case you haven’t seen this movie, go watch it!) Just when you think you have a handle on this movie, shit changes just in time for a huge ending that we both loved. How hot is K Stew in this movie? Does anyone else find TJ Miller as funny as I do? And who saw that ending coming honestly?PS. Next week was going to be Godzilla Minus One but its not streaming like I thought it would be (wtf man?) so we’re replacing it with The Host (2006) and will cover Godzilla when it eventually comes out!https://twitter.com/livingdreadfulhttps://www.instagram.com/barelylivingdreadful/tiktok.com/@barelylivingdreadfulemail: [email protected] Get the full RSS feed here: https://media.rss.com/deeperscreeperspod/feed.xmlartwork done by Yuzumaki Ketsueki, instagram.com/yuzumaki_ https://instagram.com/yuzumaki__?igshid=NTdlMDg3MTY=All music and videos are owned by the respective artist and production companies. • The Descent (2005) Review
Monster Movie March Madness is hereeeeee! And we’re starting off with an absolute banger from 2005, The Descent. A powerful movie about womanhood (Happy International Women’s day) and friendship and loyalty and… there was something else I swear… Oh yeah! Cave creatures!! Even without the creepy crawlers, this would be a tense and terrifying movie that leaves you holding your breath. But this is a month to celebrate awesome monsters and we can’t overstate how iconic they are. Did anyone see the sequel? Did you hate it? Love it? Didn’t seem like it needed a sequel. Especially with the original ending. But let us know in the comments!https://twitter.com/livingdreadfulhttps://www.instagram.com/barelylivingdreadful/tiktok.com/@barelylivingdreadfulemail: [email protected] Get the full RSS feed here: https://media.rss.com/deeperscreeperspod/feed.xmlartwork done by Yuzumaki Ketsueki, instagram.com/yuzumaki_ https://instagram.com/yuzumaki__?igshid=NTdlMDg3MTY=All music and videos are owned by the respective artist and production companies. • Triangle (2009) Review Bonus Episode
What the fuck… is this movie?Okay y’all, full disclosure, this was not supposed to be a bonus episode but we had no idea how to talk about this time-fucky movie so it only ended up being a half hour. Whoops. Casey’s bad! We (Casey at least) had a lot of fun watching Triangle from 2009 and we definitely suggest watching the movie before listening to this episode. We barely make sense even if you know what’s happening in this movie. A movie like this just doesn’t have the best structure for a recap/review discussion like we usually do. (Again, Casey’s bad.)“This movie rules though.” -CaseyStay spooky! • Hostel (2005) Review
Coming at you with a horror staple this week, the OG gore p*rn, Eli Roth’s breakout movie: Hostel. The effects in this movie hold up beautifully of course. The dialogue? Not so much… I’m not sure if we’re supposed to like the protagonists but I guess it makes it more fun to watch the torture scenes? At least Olie is fun to watch. Also, do you know how hard it is to splice in clips of a movie that's 90% boobs and gore? (youtube’s 2 most hated things). Are there any parts of this movie or the sequel you can’t watch? Does anyone even remember anything about the third except the face peeling scene? And who wants us to cover Thanksgiving (2023) soon? (possibly Roth’s best movie?)Stay spooky! https://twitter.com/livingdreadfulhttps://www.instagram.com/barelylivingdreadful/tiktok.com/@barelylivingdreadfulemail: [email protected] Get the full RSS feed here: https://media.rss.com/deeperscreeperspod/feed.xmlartwork done by Yuzumaki Ketsueki, instagram.com/yuzumaki_ https://instagram.com/yuzumaki__?igshid=NTdlMDg3MTY=All music and videos are owned by the respective artist and production companies.
