I chatted with Brandon Bosworth, Development Coordinator at the historic Hawaii Theatre on KTUH to talk about the Hawaii Theatre's film and arts production series and the upcoming Vampire series which I will be a part of.It's Dark HORROR MUSIC NIGHT AND DANCE. She currently hosts the ‘Queen of Wands Podcast’ and the ‘Queen of Wands Radio Show’ on Modsnap Radio every Saturday at 2 PM (Hawaii Standard Time), which replays every Tuesdays starting at 5 PM (HST). DJ Nocturna is also one of the resident DJs and promoters for Nextdoor’s Acid Wash HNL, the long-running ‘80s dance party in Honolulu.In addition to great music from DJ Nocturna, Ghost Light will feature specialty cocktails and the chance to dance in one of Honolulu’s most elegant venues. I had the pleasure to talk to frontman HARRY STAFFORD of Manchester post-punk legends INCA BABIES about the band's latest album Ghost Mechanic Nine, released on Black Lagoon Records. We also talked about the "Inca Babies Documentary on the Making of Ghost Mechanic Nine - From 80s Hulme to 2024." A vibrant part of Britain's early postpunk/goth/death rock scene, INCA BABIES amassed a steady following through touring and releasing six singles and four albums, all entering the UK Indie Charts. They also recorded four sessions for BBC's legendary John Peel show between 1984 and 1988. The band reformed in 2007 and hasn't looked back since.Stafford (guitar, keys, vocals) revisits the raw guitar sounds of the band's 80s output, joined by Rob Haynes (drums, percussion), Jim Adama (bass) and Kevin G.
