The gang climb aboard the mysterious ghost ship but despite the strange distress signal being broadcast, there appears to be no life aboard the rusting hulk. Splitting in to teams they make their way around the barely-afloat boat trying to uncover what happened to the crew as well as the source of a mysterious grey sludge coating the deck and hull.

A fishing vessel goes missing after picking up a mysterious S.O.S. signal. James, Abigail, Dan and Cassandra accompany the brother of one of the missing fisherman out onto open water to see if they can help find the source of the mysterious call for help. Miles away from land and with their instruments going haywire, the team are set to find themselves in their most dangerous situation yet.
