The development of Coke iron was a major driving force of the Industrial Revolution beyond steam. Other industries that pushed the revolution forward; pottery, upgraded Roman concrete, paper making , printing, and glass manufacturing.

The revolution took off with the development of early steam pumps aiding in efficiency of horse-power per coal usage ratio. The steam engine was later refined by James Watts, apply its applications to power production and vehicles for the road. Also, a much efficient loom was invented that a single person could produce fabric.

Britain led the development of the industrial revolution due to a capitalist society that would lead to consumerism leading to all other countries in the world. This occurred while they had a highly adaptive and innovative agrarian society which led food production in the world. As urbanization occurred, timber became scarce and expensive, coal the last piece of the puzzle became the impetus propelling Britain into the industrial revolution.

In the end all the pre-war boundaries remained the same and the American side drew very close ties with Britain.

After many battles for the Americans, some won, some lost, the chief thread was the lack of organization. They learned better to have a united military of America then individual state’s militias.
