It's A Lot!

Here we are, the first mix of 2022! And it's one I've been trying to get arranged since August last year...

Life got in the way for so many of us, so to finally have Manchester's @tht_grl dropping a fire Drum & Bass mix is a real bonus. She's been smashing the local DnB and UKG scene of late, with bookings left, right and centre and is a regular at the 'Ghosts of Garage' and 'Not Bad For A Girl' events.

I'm all about pushing new UKG these days, but every now and then you need to take a step back and remember where the sound has come from.

This mix is heavily set around 'The Lost Years' of UKG, something @djbrainz and @robphonetix talk a lot about in their podcast (go check that out!! https://intheukgarage.com/), but also featuring more classic UKG cuts thrown in for good measure.
