    Missing Pregnancy Nutrients That Are Sabotaging Child Development

    By popular request after years of interviewing several different women and getting their perspectives on how to create healthy babies, I decided to create a solo show dedicated to the topic. While I don't talk about iron at all in this show, and several other nutrients and supplements that can support a healthy pregnancy, I highlight vitamin K2 and melatonin. I also talk about vitamin E and why fears about pregnant women supplementing it are unfounded, how I view the four fat soluble vitamins, the benefits of zinc for fetal development, and briefly touch on magnesium and shilajit.

    I've helped two families here in northern Idaho create several healthy babies by supplementing all of the Mitolife products. The conventional health system combined with influencers with various agendas (usually the whole food supplement types) have really mudied the waters and confused a lot of mothers. In this show I aim to break the spell that many are under regarding fear around various supplements, specifically exogenous supplemental melatonin while a woman is pregnant and the tremendous benefits that it provides.

    Strap in your seatbelt and buckle up because this is nearly three hour show is an interview that I did with Vanessa Lopez over on her podcast Intentionally Well. She asked many excellent questions and had me break down the nuts and bolts of my CLF Protocol, which stands for calcification, lipofuscin and fibrosis.
    I talk about how every DM I get on social media about a rare health condition i've never heard of relates back to one of those three accumulations in the body. I also talked about burnout recovery, my thoughts on peptides, and shared a lot of information that I've never shared before either on interviews or on my solo podcasts.

    Recovering from Burnout

    In our fast paced world it is easier than ever to be burned out. High testosterone and motivated individuals like myself are more susceptible to burning the candle at both ends and wearing ourselves thin. In this episode I share what I am doing to recover from three years of unrelenting nonstop stressors. I don't talk about the details of my personal life because people use that as ammunition against me, but you can read between the lines when I talk about my experiences.
    For the first half of the show I focus on the scientific studies regarding ascorbic acid (vitamin C), magnesium, zinc, melatonin, and sodium chloride for recovering from burnout and staving off depression, anxiety, and other mental states that can manifest from burnout. I skim over the foundational stuff like going outside and getting sunlight because thats all most people are talking about. I do share why its important to get in enough calories and the liquid meal that I'm consuming when I don't have an appetite.
    I talk a little about traditional chinese medicine, why its crucial to restore your Yin energy, and the chinese herbs I'm taking everyday to assist with that. I pay respect to Ray Peat and appreciation of his focus on handling stress using bioenergetics and improving cellular health. Tools that I use are shared including the Apollo Neuro device and the two peptides I'm currently on.

    Tobacco Benefits Extend Beyond Nicotine

    I've never heard a podcast on nicotine that I was impressed with because tobacco is usually bashed, or if the podcast is about tobacco it is all about energy and the teacher aspect of the plant. That was the primary inspiration to have this monologue on why I smoke a cigar almost everyday.

    Why I Brush my Teeth with Fluoride Toothpaste

    The topic of fluoride is a big one so this is just an introductory show about why I personally use it and question the health educators that say nobody should use ever it. Rather than dive into studies in this show, I talk about the advantage of fluorapatite over hydroxyapatite and how utilizing sodium fluoride topically provides all day protection from acid attacks and demineralization of the enamel.
