Are poor heat pump installations being blamed on the technology when the real failure begins at the design desk?

They explore why some homes remain cold after installation, why high electricity bills can often be traced back to weak hydronic design and why room-by-room heat-loss calculations are only the beginning of a competent system design.

Rob explains the importance of system water volume, emitter sizing, flow rates, index circuits and low-temperature operation – and argues that too many installations rely on buffer tanks as a substitute for proper engineering.
