- “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” -2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)
For years, a corner of prophecy media has run on the same recurring promise: the collapse is coming, and this time the date is real. The dollar is about to fail. The banks are about to lock. Buy gold before it’s too late. And for years, the date has quietly moved every time it fails to arrive.
In this episode, we look honestly at what’s actually true — the national debt really is approaching a staggering figure — and what’s been sensationalized for clicks and subscriptions. We walk through the practical case against “gold as your emergency plan,” including a firsthand look at what real currency collapse looked like in Argentina’s corralito, and why that scenario would look nothing like a quiet inconvenience if it ever happened here.
But the heart of this episode is Scripture’s answer to financial fear. From Deuteronomy’s test for a false prophet, to Jesus’ own words that no one knows the day or the hour, to Paul’s charge to be anxious for nothing — the Bible consistently calls believers toward diligent, faithful stewardship instead of manufactured panic. Not naive. Not reckless. Just faithful, one day at a time, regardless of whose prediction is trending this month.
Grateful you’re here.

PayPal (direct donation) - There’s a lie floating around Christian culture that faithfulness means picking one lane and staying in it forever. Today’s guest is proof that’s never been true. He spent seven years flying combat missions over three continents, then two decades as an FBI agent chasing down high profile crime in this country, then years teaching the next generation how to spot deception for a living. On paper, that’s already a full life.
But it wasn’t finished. He walked away from all of it to protect missionaries in the jungles of Papua New Guinea, then came home and built a cold case homicide unit from scratch as a deputy in the Sheriffs office — because some families are still waiting for answers nobody else was willing to chase down.
One man. Five uniforms. One calling underneath all of them. This conversation will show you exactly what that looks like — and it might reframe what you think your own calling is supposed to look like too.
Grateful you’re here.

PayPal (direct donation) - I’ve been doing a liver cleanse with my wife for the past month or so. All it really entails is no sugar, no white flour, nothing fried. One glass of lemon water first thing in the morning, followed by a raw blended juice of carrots, celery and parsley. That’s it! Yet it got me thinking about every fad diet people chase and abandon: keto, Atkins, paleo, etc. Sure, fast results but then you gain it all back, sometimes twice over. The fad never holds. And somewhere in my own kitchen, craving the very thing I know is killing me, it hit me — we do the exact same thing with our faith.
Prosperity gospel. Word of Faith. The new apostles. The endless prophecy clickbait. They’ve become spiritual junk food — a quick high that leaves you starving and jumping to the next thing, worse off than when you started.
This week’s broadcast is about the one diet nobody can sell you, because there’s no shortcut to advertise: the slow, steady, unglamorous meal of the Word and prayer. It’s true sustenance, not a quick high. And it’s the only thing that lasts!
Grateful you’re here.

PayPal (direct donation) - -250 years of God-given liberty — and why, for the believer, our greatest chapter is still ahead.
NOTE: The audio might not sound too good because this was a pop-up live I did at around 11:00pm on July 3rd. Kind of sounds like an old radio show! Blessings!
Two hundred and fifty years ago, fifty-six men pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor on a firm reliance on divine Providence. This nation was built on the conviction that our rights come from God — not from kings, not from congresses, not from majorities. That foundation is worth honoring, and on this Fourth of July, we do. But honoring the past is not the same as living in it. In this broadcast, we trace the Judeo-Christian bedrock of the American founding, hear what Adams and Tocqueville understood about liberty that we’ve grown soft on, and name a quiet danger that has crept into the believing church: nostalgia.
Because here’s the truth — as much as I love this country, America was never our hope. Nations rise and nations fall, but the Kingdom that has no end belongs to Jesus Christ. When we spend all our energy staring into the rearview mirror, longing for a golden age, we do the very thing Scripture warns against. Lot’s wife looked back. Israel looked back. We are called to look forward — to the blessed hope, the return of our King, and a future so glorious that our best chapter hasn’t even been written yet. So light the fireworks. Thank God for 250 years. But don’t you dare get stuck looking back. Stand firm, and stay salty.
Grateful you’re here.

PayPal (direct donation) - -How The Numbers Became The Currency In The Church
The church has a banking problem. Not with money in the offering plate — with people. We’ve started investing in platforms instead of character, booking the big accounts instead of the faithful ones, and quietly teaching a generation of kids that the number under your name is what makes you worth following. I call it social media banking. And it’s costing us more than we know.
Because here’s what the kids actually learn when we put the famous over the faithful: that being known and being godly are the same thing. They’re not. They never were. The cure isn’t a better influencer — it’s the one influence that never falls, never gets cancelled, and never fails. Turn the feed off. Open the Book. That’s the whole prescription, and it’s available to every one of us, no following required.
Grateful you’re here.
