  • 32 - The Visit (2015)
We're back at it like an underaged documentarian, filming illnesses we don't comprehend! This week Seth, Laura and "The Loony Lardo" discuss M. Night Shyamalan's personal investment creation called The Visit from 2015. We take a wild trip through this crazy movie, drenched in bodily fluids, and maybe by the end of it we can diagnose the problems from our armchairs! Thank you so much for listening and being patient with us while we struggle through our transitional period. We all hope to get back to a more consistent format soon, but either way, we still have great episodes coming out sooner or later! Have a question or thought for the podcast? • 31 - Signs (2002)
Signs, signs, everywhere are signs! Finally our second episode covering M. Night Shyamalan movies, obviously a bit behind schedule (as usual). Have you ever been curious about our thoughts on this classic Shyamalan thriller!? Well now you can hear exactly what Seth, Laura and "The Buffet Basher" think about Christianity and aliens!! Thank you so much for listening to our uneducated thoughts and belligerent rants on an inconsistent schedule! We hope you continue to give us your ears every once in a while. • 30 - Knock at the Cabin (2023)
We're back discussing a brand new movie from this year! Hopefully back on track now to follow our regular format, and we'll talk about a few of the M. Night Shyamalan classics, as well as what may be his most recent...this week Seth, Laura and "the corpulent crusader" discuss Knock at the Cabin and compare it to the source material The Cabin at the End of the World by Paul Tremblay. Has Shyamalan made another flop that refuses to follow its source material, or will it be true to the book? Take a listen as our research is quickly curbed by our impending intoxication! And as always thank you so much for lending us your ear for another hour and a half, we love you!! Have a question or thought for the podcast? It's been a hell of a year! This episode is dedicated to this struggle we call a podcast!! Seth, Laura and "Hunk Chungry" reflect on the last 28 episodes with games, trivia and a retrospective of favorite conversations. Thank you so much for listening and especially if you stick around episode after episode. Here's hoping for a more productive and enjoyable year...cheers! Have a question or thought for the podcast? • 28 - Hackers (1995)
Alright, alright, I get it. Maybe this should just be a bi-monthly show! Releasing an episode recorded last October isn't ideal, but at least it's a timeless classic like Hackers!! Listen to Seth, Laura and "AFK Doritos" discuss the mid 90s cult classic Hackers for Laura's favorite movie pick! How well did this movie age over the years? Probably not the best but it's a really fun time nonetheless. Tune in next time (no specific date set yet) for our anniversary episode that was admittedly recorded a month ago. It'll be worth the wait!

About The Beandubbed Podcast

A weekly discussion about movies helmed by a huge movie nerd by the name of Beandurd aka Seth. Since every podcast needs a niche, on a monthly basis the theme of the month will change. Typically discussing the works of directors, writers, and actors in their respective roles. Some might consider this a movie review podcast, but Seth has far from the credentials or perspective to be a critic. This is just a film loving podcast with guest hosts that are just as much nerds as their outspoken leader!
