It was an eventful day both on and off the field at Ibrox at the weekend and from a Celtic Exchange point of view both Mif and Paddy were there on the day to take it all in.

The elation of Tomas Cvancara’s winning penalty kick was soon taken over by the concerning post-match incidents that followed and the boys shared their experience of what played out before, during, and after the game.

Elsewhere we look ahead to the next challenge which is Motherwell at Celtic Park on Saturday and to some decisions that Martin O’Neill now faces after a solid defensive display at Ibrox.

Finally, with the Green Brigade due to meet with the club at the start of the week we speculate on how that may all play out with just five home games remaining this season.

Defeat to Hibs has made Celtic’s title push that little bit more complicated, but with 11 games and 33 points still up for grabs, this race is far from run.

There’s work to do, and concerns remain about the current squad - but it’s still all to play for. It was a setback, no doubt, yet incredibly it was Martin O’Neill’s first domestic defeat since returning this season. If anything he’ll be more determined than ever to get our challenge back on track in the games ahead.

Next up - four tricky away days: Stuttgart, Rangers, Aberdeen, then Rangers again. A defining run of fixtures and one which will go a long way to determining the success of this season.

Off the pitch, the standoff between the club and the Celtic Fans Collective drags on, with recent meetings producing few signs of progress.

A breakthrough remains the hope but the longer it takes, the more it may be too little, too late – at least in terms of salvaging something tangible from this season!

Julian Araujo becomes the latest Celtic signing to score a dramatic late winner, coming hot on the heels of his new pals Alex Oxlade Chamberlain and Junior Adamu doing the same, and it's a goal which fires us right into the mix in this topsy turvy title race.
