- Shake The Ground Podcast | S02EP02
This week on Shake The Ground we are joined by Brian O’Loughlin for a conversation about burnout, identity, nervous system regulation and learning how to actually live the life we’ve worked so hard to build.
What if the very things that make us successful; ambition, hard work, responsibility and always pushing forward, are also the things keeping us stuck?
We talk about Brian’s experience of burnout and the uncomfortable realisation that so much of his ambition had become tied to worth, safety and constantly needing to move forward.
We explore what fight-or-flight can look like in a highly functioning person, the limits of “mindset” work, our obsession with self-improvement, and whether we can stay ambitious without constantly being at war with ourselves. We also chat about fatherhood, presence, why rest can feel so uncomfortable, what Brian calls “midlife reorganisation”, and how we can become so good at managing our lives that we forget how to actually live them.
This is a conversation for anyone who has ever looked at their life and thought: everything is good… so why don’t I feel okay?

08/09/2026 | 1h 19 mins.Shake The Ground Podcast | S02EP01
This week, Nathalie sits down with Siobhan O’Hagan for an incredibly open conversation about changing your mind, doing life differently and having the courage to build a future on your own terms.
Siobhan spent years building a hugely successful online career in health and fitness, travelling the world and embracing a life centred around freedom and independence. For a long time, she was also certain that having children wasn’t part of her future.
Then she became a mum to her daughter, Cadhla and everything changed.
Now, Siobhan is growing her family again, this time choosing to go through IVF as a solo mum and welcoming her second child.
They talk honestly about wellbeing, fitness, Siobhan’s journey, then into the realities of motherhood, choosing a donor, going through IVF & pregnancy.
At its heart, this is a conversation about giving yourself permission to change your mind, and realising that your happiest life might look nothing like the one you once planned.

04/08/2026 | 1h 6 mins. After 17 years in banking, Rachael Uí Bhaoill walked away from the being extremely successful in the corporate world to starting from scratch building something completely her own, after an injury opened her eyes to what needed changing in her life.
