The Benefits & Blessings of Knowing God (Part 5)
In today’s episode, Dr. Siohvaughn Funches finishes this series of “No More Condemnation.” Dr. Funches first recaps the last two episodes and she invites you to go back and hear them if you have not heard them already, as a foundation for today’s message. Beginning with John 3:16–17, Dr. Funches shows that it was God’s unconditional love that sent Jesus to give us everlasting life. The greatest demonstration of God’s love is giving us Jesus. Dr. Funches reminds us that Adam and Eve hid from God but God came and found them. God sent the fish to swallow Jonah and hold him for three days. For the believer — for the born again Christian, there is no more condemnation for you. Dr. Funches explains in the Word that the Law is obsolete; that condemnation comes by the Law, and we are no longer under the Law so we are no longer under condemnation. God will remember our lawless deeds no more. As you go through the Bible, Dr. Funches invites you to find scriptures that talk about the righteous, and highlight those or mark them for reference.
