- It's a pop emergency! Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhán Donaghy AKA Sugababes have announced the release of their long-awaited new album, and with it a brand new single, Ghost. The self-titled album, and the ninth under the Sugababes moniker, has been a long time coming, and marks the first Sugababes album since 2010's Sweet 7 (which featured neither Mutya, Keisha or Siobhán as part of the band when it was released), and the original line-up's first album together since 2000...
WELL, that's not entirely true, of course. The Lost Tapes, surprise released on Christmas Eve 2022, collated the tracks MKS had worked on between 2011 and 2013, including the single Flatline. We went track by track through the album on Patreon for our first our first album of 2023, and now we're sharing it everywhere while we're on a major Suga high.

See acast.com/privacy for more information. - We've made it to the grand finale of our Pet Shop Boys Disco mini series, and after sharing parts 1 - 4 (which were originally released on Patreon a few years ago) we've got a brand new episode to make our eighth anniversary, as we go track by track through Disco 5.
As with its predecessor, this one is mainly about Pet Shop Boys remixing for other artists, including the legendary Tina Turner, Paul Weller and Noel Gallagher (with his High Flying Birds). They also remix Sleaford Mods' cover of West End Girls, their own duets with Olly Alexander and Soft Cell, and include the previously released rarity Let The Music Play by Carroll Thompson (produced by them and included on the soundtrack to The Crying Game).

So far each Disco album has had its own identity, and this one is no exception. As the title suggests, this collection - released in 2007 - features PSB remixes, with the band putting their own spin on tracks by Madonna, The Killers, David Bowie, Yoko Ono and themselves.
In fact, the remixes of their own tracks are the only ones that weren't widely available when the album was released. Nevertheless, it's a strong collection of dance pop remixes from pioneers of the genre.

Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information. - We've reached 2003's Disco 3 as part of our Pet Shop Boys' Disco mini-series, and this one couldn't be further from its predecessor. With more of a focus on new material, as well as some remixes, rumour has it this one wasn't even originally going to be called Disco 3...
Critics loved it (some more than the previous year's Release), but what do you think to this one? Let us know @trackbytrackuk on Instagram/Threads, in the comments on Spotify, or email us: hellotrackbytrack@gmail.com

Unlike the original, this instalment of PSB's remix collections was a non-stop mix of re-workings from two albums: Behaviour and Very.
