In Nashville, 78-year-old songwriter Jerry, who has had songs recorded by Tim McGraw, has spent seven years trapping foxes suffering from a worsening mange epidemic and bringing them to Walden’s Puddle Animal Rescue; by September the rescue rehabilitated over 60 foxes, surpassing last year’s 44.
