It's another experiment with Suno, throwing new light on some Marillion old songs using some of the website's new features - but we take a different approach to last time. We tried to bring new life to some pre-EMI demos, and reimagined the back catalogue in wildly different ways to shed new light on the music. It's further terrifying evidence of what AI can do... but also, reassuringly, a demonstration of what it can'tyet do and probably never will. We'd never take an AI Marillion - or any musician - over the real thing. The fact this ep has taken days to make shows just how limited it is.
