  In an expected end, Olive and Adam end up as true loves. In an unexpected end, Malcolm and Holden also end as true loves! Candice goes a little to hard on Olive in retrospect (sawwy I was FIRED UP) but Chrissy keeps the rocket ship grounded. While this was frustrating to read it was so fun to recap!   The girlies have once again put all their chips on a murder suspect who was completely innocent. While Chrissy was never fully convinced of Billy's murdering ways, Candice is still not convinced Billy ISN’T the true big bad of this mystery.Unanswered questionsWhy did Billy’s Mom abandon him with a known pedo/killer?Why did Billy not look at his tool kit when Jet was investigating?Did Jet overlook Luke’s serial killer tendencies?Does Sophia ever face consequences?Does Mr. Finney hate Billy because he doesn’t like to murder?Despite these questions we rated this book a 4.9 This is a fun & fast-pace thriller while being a little more grounded in reality than other thrillers we’ve readFor our first venture into Holly Jackson, we loved the ride!
