Babel Part 3 of 4 (Book iii - Ch 22)

    11/05/2026 | 1h 31 mins.
THIS IS NOT AN AUDIO BOOK

Life is humming along at Oxford. The group of 4 study and pass finals and Robin is officially OUT of Hermes.
Letty convinces the crew to go to the once in a life-time University College Ball, even though the rest of the cohort are certain they will be treated like waitstaff and experience nonstop microaggressions. Letty says, no way! We are all Babel students in polite society. No one will treat you badly. Jokes on everyone as the ball turns out just as bad as the crew thought it would.
Lovell finds out about Robin's interaction with Hermes. Instead of getting kicked out of Babel, Lovell tries the nice-guy tactic. This is about as effective as an alligator trying to smile at you. Robin almost falls for it but then ends up doing something that will change the trajectory of his story.

Babel Part 2 of 4 (Ch 7 - end of Part II)

    04/05/2026 | 1h 17 mins.
THIS IS NOT AN AUDIO BOOK
Robin starts his subterfuge as a Hermes associate. During the day he is mild manner student, at night he is helping Griffin steal school supplies from the Babel Tower. Why? We aren't sure and Griffin won't say.
As the semesters tick by, we watch the group of 4 go through the waves of cohort friendship - honeymoon bliss where everything is new, jealousy as members of the cohort try things on their own and frustrations as finals come by.

    Babel Part 1 of 4 (Ch 1 - 6)

    27/04/2026 | 1h 36 mins.
The sisters journey back-in-time to a not so different past of 1800's England. This listener recommended book is complex, deep, and full of important discussion topics!
Disclaimer, we are self-identified Letty's and do our best to navigate important topics on racism, classism, and colonialism. We aren't experts but these are our thoughts and we are open to hear your thoughts as well.
Thanks to our listener Ananathnid who recommended this thought-provoking read!

    Babel Part 0 (Author Recap)

    20/04/2026 | 46 mins.
    Hi bookalicious girlies!
We get off to a slow start with our Babel recap, which is fitting as this is a meandering novel, as we only cover our Author recap + a 15 minute detour into my (Candice's) Lasik eye surgery story. You may say, wow we wanted a recap of the book not your medical mysteries.
To that I say, you're welcome. You will need the extra time to read and work through the episodes. Each one is a 90 min - 2 hour bonanza.
See you NEXT week when we break down Part 1 of Babel (Chapters 1 - 6)
