It’s a new season with a time jump confirmed! After keeping the Mikaelsons down for 5 years, it’s time to get them up and at ‘em! Hayley has been hard at work but needs the help of a new slay werewolf for the final step. And there’s a new ship alert! Meanwhile, Marcel deals with an influx of vampire tourism and, despite his insistence he hates Klaus, he still wants his advice. But even without the Mikaelsons New Orleans still has danger, including a creepy new symbol that seems to particularly like messing with kids, including our favorite now 7 year old. After the recent deaths it’s time not only for multiple funerals, but also to check in on the prophecy that is the Mikaelsons hope has been stopped. Of course, that is not how prophecies work. Meanwhile, Klaus attempts to mend the relationship with Marcel, which goes quite well until someone buts in. Vincent and Kol spend the day in the ancestral plane to take care of the problem that is the New Orleans ancestors.
