Thanks so much for listening, and see you next time for another wander in a garden. - Join me, Josef Lloyd - as I begin this episode in South Wales at the wonderful Wye Valley Sculpture Garden, where I wander through the stunning woodland garden with Gemma Kate Wood - artist, gardener, and the owner of this magical space. We stroll among carpets of snowdrops and striking sculptures as Gemma shares her passion for nature, creativity, and her unexpected love of rust, which brings a beautiful, weathered charm to her work.
Next, I visit Painswick Rococo Garden, the Cotswolds’ best-kept secret. I join volunteer Sue Steed, who takes me on a magical tour of this romantic garden - the only fully restored Rococo garden in the country. With its whimsical follies, sweeping views, and hidden corners, it’s a place that feels straight out of a fairytale.
