- On a day where the major championship scoring record was equalled twice, day two of the Open Championship was all about Bryson DeChambeau who was assessed a two shot penalty for inadvertently improving his lie on the fifth. That caused a debacle not seen for many a year and it remains to be seen whether the American will tee it up tomorrow.
This was all happening as David Howard narrowly missed out on making the cut and winning the silver medal as Shane Lowry and Rory McIlroy remained on the fringes of contention heading into the weekend. - This week Mark caught up with Stuart Grehan to digest what a week he had just had after claiming the Amateur Championship at Royal Liverpool.

The Tullamore native from County Louth GC became only the ninth Irishman to win the championship and in doing so books his spot in next month's Open Championship and next year's Masters and US Open while also cementing his Walker Cup place for Lahinch in September.
While Hoylake was gripping, Shinnecock Hills simmered but never got to the boil as Wyndham Clark held off Sam Burns, Scottie Scheffler and co to win his second US Open title.

The Roganstown star sat down to talk through his win and dove deep into how finding faith in Christ has helped him not just on the course but in everyday life.
Keeling reveals how his belief in Jesus has given him greater clarity on the golf course and has relieved some of the pressures he once felt when he went to college in the US and now he has full belief that more good results will come and he can build on his Irish Amateur victory.
