JT and Josh examine what happens when verses like Philippians 4:13, Jeremiah 29:11, “judge not,” and Christ's warning that “one will be taken and the other left” are put back into their surrounding context.

Was Paul really promising that Christians can accomplish anything they set their minds to? Does “judge not” mean believers can never identify sin? And perhaps most provocatively: when Jesus says one person is “taken” and another is “left,” are we sure we actually want to be the one taken?

The conversation also explores Ecclesiastes, the meaning of “new heavens and a new earth,” biblical cosmology, Genesis, light and darkness, the harvest imagery of Revelation, and the popular Left Behind interpretation of prophecy.

What happened to the old world?
