    April 15th, marks the 74th anniversary of César Vallejo’s death. While the early days in Trujillo & Lima resulted in some of his best and most well-known works, the final months of his life stand out as one of the, if not the, most intense periods of literary production in the Peruvian’s life. To commemorate and revive Vallejo memories as “the greatest of the great South American poets” – LATIN POETS UK, Peruvian poet Juan Calle (Max Bruno) the creator of 1st Cesar Vallejo International Poetry Competition back in 2005 & Chilean poet Alfredo Cordal ,two of the most recognized artists living in London who keep the latin poetry and culture alive join Carlos N. on the studio. Thomas Merton called him “the greatest universal poet since Dante”. Backed up by a section of five horns, double bass, accordion, piano and organ, Maguaré brings to the table, under the title of retro cumbia, an explosive mix of Afro-Colombian beats in the style of Lucho Bermudez and Lito Barrientos.
