About Mariola Rosario:
Mariola Rosario (she/her) is an artist, astrologer, writer, teacher, and independent researcher from Puerto Rico, currently based in Paris, France. She explores visual and material culture in relation to terrestrial and celestial practices and mythologies, tracing how images, objects, and language shape cultural memory, origins, and political imaginaries.
She is currently launching Studio Solar, a creative research studio dedicated to seasonal astrological inquiry through art, symbols, and visual culture. Its first offering, Inventing the Self: Self-Portraiture & Solar Mythic Imagination with Leonor Fini & Leonora Carrington, begins on July 22 as a three-part course held during Leo season that draws on the work of Fini and Carrington as a starting point for conversations on 'the solar', self-portraiture, personal mythology, artistic practice, art making, and the creative imagination.
Mariola writes on Substack at Las Flores del Mar, where she shares reflections on myth, art, monstrosity, astrology, politics, and the magic of language. Paid subscribers are also invited to join the Radical Book Club for Underworld Readers, a lively and generative collective devoted to reading critical texts together. 
On most days, she can be found wandering the streets of Paris, following images and stories wherever they lead.... convinced that walking is one of the oldest forms of research.
