Murder Most Irish

Hello friends!
We’re back and we have some news!
The podcast, as it is, has been on a weird hiatus for a while and us three avoidants finally sat down and had a chat about it.
We love each other and we love Murder Most Irish but it was becoming increasingly difficult to engage with the material we needed to in order to write cases.
We avoided reading and writing about true crime so the podcast suffered.
We want to continue doing the pod so we have made a decision to do somewhat of a rebranding. We are not moving away from True Crime fully (don’t worry) but instead we have decided to focus on turning it into a more topical based podcast.
We are still going to explore feminism and politics and the nonsense we usually talk about but the case based structure will be taking a back seat.
We know this is a change and as three people who hate change we know you may not want to listen anymore and please know that is totally and completely fine. You have no idea how much we appreciate that you decided to spend time with us and we are so thankful.
If you want to continue to listen that is amazing and thank you from the bottom of our wee hearts.
As we said above we love this podcast, we don’t want it to go away so this is what we have to do to keep it going.

This week Emma covers the case of the murder of 19 year old Trevor O'Keefe. Trevor was backpacking across France when he was attacked and murdered by French serial killer Pierre Chanal.
Chanal raped and murdered 18 men over an 8 year period with the French Police and Military ignoring the crimes.
