This week on The Obsessed Podcast we are STILL Here For It All One year later as One year ago, Mariah Carey gave us Here For It All — an album that brought together vulnerability, timeless R&B, gospel, soul, hip-hop, disco and, of course, that unmistakable Mariah magic.
.
To celebrate the album’s first anniversary, Gareth & Ghia take another deep dive into Here For It All — the songs, the vocals, the moments, the meaning and the era that reminded us why Mariah’s artistry continues to resonate.
And as it’s not quite time, the festive season still approaches and there’s even more to celebrate!
Mariah is bringing her Christmas Time Tour back to the UK, with shows in Birmingham, London and Manchester, before heading to Malta for a special festive performance. With her London & Malta shows already sold out, this is going to bring another unforgettable moment to this holiday season.

On The Obsessed Podcast this week, we’re diving headfirst into one of Mariah Carey’s most fascinating, chaotic, and glamorous eras: GLITTER.
Because in 2001, Mariah wasn’t about to quietly release a soundtrack and call it a day. We got racing, rhinestones, bodysuits, choreography, New Orleans funk, movie magic and multiple Mariah’s.
And honestly? We’re still not over it.

Loverboy Start your engines! We’re breaking down the looks, imagery and glorious Glitter-era excess. Sexy? Yes. Subtle? Absolutely not.

Never Too Far Grab a tissue. We’re stepping back into Billie Frank’s world with this cinematic visual, an emotional Madison Square Garden performance.

Don’t Stop (Funkin’ 4 Jamaica) One video. 3 Mariah’s, ZERO complaints. With Mystikal bringing the energy, Mariah heads South for a funky, colourful visual bursting with New Orleans flavour, bold pure camp styling.
Basically: Mariah became her own girl group.

Last Night a DJ Saved My Life No real music video — but a performance visual? WE HAVE THOUGHTS. Give Mariah a stage, a mic and a beat and she’ll do the rest.

And then comes the BIG question…
WHAT COULD THE GLITTER ERA HAVE LOOKED LIKE IF EVERYTHING HAD GONE ACCORDING TO PLAN?!

So turn Silk way down and bring Billie all the way up because Mariah never lost her Sparkle!
