Today I want to share one final preview article from our first issue of Homemaker’s Journal. 
So often we think of celebration as our idea—something we plan when life goes well. But in Scripture, celebration begins with God. 
In today’s episode, Amber Davis will show us that the Father’s heart isn’t distant or disinterested—He’s a welcoming God who sets the table of celebration, calls His children in close, and says, "Come and partake."

My guest is Brittany Shepard who is known as the Sentimental Decorator online. Today we are diving deeper into Brittany’s passion, helping others become storykeepers in their homes. A storykeeper is someone who doesn’t save special things “for someday,” but lives with them—uses them, displays them, and allows the memories they carry bring comfort, joy, and even a place for grief to land.

Some of the hardest holidays and special days to navigate are those that come in the midst of loss.
