The world of rock music has long been saturated with Occult imagery, mysticism and dark spiritual themes, and in some cases the stories go far beyond the stage theatrics and album art. Some of the most startling claims have come not from outsiders, but from the artists themselves. In interviews Ronnie James Dio included descriptions of rituals connected to guitarist Ritchie Blackmore. He even described a ritual in which they used to summon the ancient entity known as Baal. So on this episode, what we want to discuss is the spiritual ramifications of dabbling in the occult and whether or not some of these artists really know what they're getting themselves into.

In a recent discussion, popular evangelist Cliffe Knechtle stated that "transgenderism itself is not a sin". That claim has sparked significant debate among Christians who are asking a crucial question, "What does the Bible actually say regarding transgenderism?" His comments come in the midst of a troubling cultural moment, as several recent mass shootings have involved individuals who identified as transgender, including the tragedy at the Covenant School in Nashville, the shooting at the hockey rink in Rhode Island, and the recent shooting at Tumbler Ridge. What we want to examine is what Scripture teaches about identity and sin evaluate Knechtle's claim in light of the full council of God's Word, and carefully ask a difficult but important question... Is there any connection between the underlying condition driving transgender identification and the instability we're seeing in some of these violent shootings that are taking place?

Over the years, and even with an uptick recently, we’ve seen a wave of celebrities publicly talking about Jesus. People like Jelly Roll, Kid Rock, Nicki Minaj, Alice Cooper, Kanye West, and others. Scott Adams, the creator of Dilbert, stepped into eternity last week and a letter was shared saying that he had given his life to Christ just prior to his passing. What makes this moment so striking isn't just the confession itself, but the way he framed it. In the letter it seemed he wasn't entirely convinced in the traditional sense. Instead, he described his decision more like a Pascalian wager, a calculated choice made in the face of uncertainty, suffering and mortality that raises some uncomfortable and fascinating questions.
