The Suspense is Killing Us

We're going back to school! But this time the schools are full of brain-washed robo-preppies, alien body snatcher things and...well, Helen Mirren. But she is SCARY talented at acting!

DISTURBING BEHAVIOR (1998, David Nutter)
THE FACULTY (1998, Robert Rodriguez)
TEACHING MRS. TINGLE (1999, Kevin Williamson)

We're discussing the many charms of legendary English character actor Bob Hoskins, a man who could kill you with tenderness or by jumping up and headbutting you in the face.

THE LONG GOOD FRIDAY (1980, John Mackenzie)
MONA LISA (1986, Neil Jordan)
A PRAYER FOR THE DYING (1987, Mike Hodges)

It's time for Blunt force trauma (the alternate title) as we discuss three thrillers starring London's own Emily Blunt. Don't worry! She gets to be drunk in all three of them! Oh, and Kevin came all the way from Hollywood (CA) to be on this episode!

WILD TARGET (2010, Jonathan Lynn)
SICARIO (20`15, Denis Villenueve)
THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN (2016, Tate Taylor)

Next main feed ep drops next Wednesday, Sept 2! First Wednesday of the month for main feed, second and fourth Wednesday for Patreon eps! That's the gist of this very special episode.

Hard to say what connects these three films with each other. I mean, other than the fact that they're all about sexy rampaging predator alien ladies who are constantly naked—a superficial connection, at best. They all take place in the northern hemisphere, that's gotta count for something, right?

LIFE FORCE (1985, Tobe Hooper)
SPECIES (1995, Roger Donaldson)
UNDER THE SKIN (2013, Jonathan Glazer)
