Father Ted is probably the most influential and iconic Irish comedy TV show so far. So much so that there's an annual festival to celebrate the 30 year old programme on Inis Mór, County Galway where attendees dress up like priests and nuns, deep lore references to the show dictate the rituals of the convention, and absurdity becomes the normality for a weekend.
