Often in this world it feels almost impossible to make a real difference as an individual. After all, what can one person really do when faced with a problem like climate change?
On this week’s final episode of 28 Ways to Save The World we’re going to try to answer that question and give you the tools to make a wider impact through your actions, your money and your vote.

In this episode we’re talking about Artificial intelligence.
AI is suddenly everywhere it seems.
It’s doing your homework, stealing your job, slipping into your social feed and even advising you on relationships.
But is it a good or bad thing and will it solve our climate problem or merely accentuate it?
In this episode we’ll be talking about AI and what it can and will do to our environment.

Ultimately it’s really important that the next generation is aware of, and has a hand in tackling, the many issues relating to climate change.
Through the Green Schools Programme, the Green Flag Awards and the efforts of individual schools and teachers, environmental awareness is being put front and centre in our childrens’ education.
And in this episode we’ll be hearing from three schools at the forefront of this work about what they’re doing to have a positive impact in their local community and beyond.

Climate change is an incredibly important, complex and difficult issue. It’s something that we should all be engaged in tackling.

So what can art and showbiz tell us about green issues and can entertainment be sustainable?

On last week’s episode we spoke about Net Zero and how it might be achieved on an individual, community and national level.
But whilst it’s all very well and good to talk about how we might theoretically accomplish these goals, as the old saying goes actions speak louder than words.
So we decided to go visit a community that is actively making Net Zero a priority. This week we’re visiting Cape Clear off the coast of County Cork to see how their Green Energy Transition and sustainability initiatives have been playing out on a community level.
