    Brian, Blake, and Richard are back for Episode 561 of the Chasing Tone Podcast - We got roads with Ira Dean and get the lowdown on writing, recording, and touring from a Nashville legend  We're stoked to have the uber-talented Ira Dean join us today and start off with a story about how he and Brian managed not to see each other at the recent Brooks and Dunn gig. Ira has been a huge part of the country music scene for the last quarter of a century and he has played with some of the all-time greats so gives us a very candid, authentic look at life as a touring musician and a top songwriter.Ira talks us through his early days before he became a professional musician with some hilarious anecdotes before talking us through his breakthrough into the country music scene. He tells us about the formation of Trick Pony and some of the influential people that helped him get on the way. Richard has a foolish plan.Blake asks Ira about working with "The Nuge" and the stories do not disappoint and include a flaming middle finger. Brian gets deep into the process of writing hit songs and uncovers Ira's process.
