This often occurs during meditation or while lying down. Garrett explains that there are different types of OBEs, primarily focusing on two: classic astral projection and pure conscious travel. Classic Astral Projection:  In the classic astral projection, individuals initiate a vibrational state that allows them to separate from their physical form. Gareth recalls one of his first OBEs, describing how he felt like he was shot through the roof of his house, flying freely through the air. He explains that in this state, one can move effortlessly, experiencing sensations that feel both physical and ethereal. He describes the sensation of standing at the foot of his bed, observing his physical body and feeling a connection to the environment around him. Pure Conscious Travel:  Another notable type of astral travel is known as pure conscious travel or mental projection.
