    🎮 What we’ve been playing:

TommyT is 60+ hours deep into The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, getting constantly distracted by shrines, thunderstorms, and Master Sword heart requirements. He also jumped into Streets of Rage 2 on the Switch Mega Drive emulator and had a blast revisiting a proper classic. Co-op sessions of Baldur’s Gate 3 continue — though he’s still deciding if the game is really for him — and a few fun rounds of Brawlhalla with Stu. He’s also completed Silent Hill on stream and started Silent Hill 3 as part of a full-series streaming plan

Stu finished Resident Evil Village, praising the horror-heavy first half before it leans into action. He’s now fully invested in the series after previously completing the Resident Evil 2 Remake. He’s also been playing Pokémon Legends on Switch and started Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, calling it visually stunning and brutally satisfying. all of which on Xbox Game Pass!

Tom has been deep in retro mode: playing Auto Modellista on his Japanese PS2, E-SWAT and Castle of Illusion on Mega Drive/Mega CD, Streets of Rage 4 on PC, and Street Fighter Alpha 2 on the Saturn.

Heather has been busy finishing and platinuming the charming point-and-click The Many Pieces of Mr. Coo, trying out the quirky club-door simulator Technobanter, and accidentally losing hours to Medieval Dynasty on PS5.

    📦 Heather’s January pickups spree:

    A 60GB launch PS3 with a stack of games
A PlayStation Classic mini for £40
Delisted gems like Game of Thrones Telltale, John Wick Hex, and Back to the Future Telltale
Steelbooks including Mad Max and Flashback
    Resident Evil Origins Collection (sealed)

    📰 Gaming news highlights:

-A GDC developer survey shows PC as the top platform devs want to build for, with PS5 and Steam Deck far ahead of Xbox Series interest.
-Apex Legends is shutting down on the original Switch but will remain on Switch 2.
Nintendo has released a censored version of Dispatch without warning buyers.
-Bloober Team tease a Valentine’s Day announcement with cryptic clues.

He also tried Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora’s new third-person mode (much better than first-person, apparently) — but the game currently losing him sleep is Stardew Valley, which he’s now 65+ hours into, farming, decorating, and obsessively watching YouTube guides about.Stu’s been hooked on Clover Pit, a roguelike slot-machine-style game that’s as addictive as it sounds.
