ECU's conference struggles continue with series loss in Wichita
East Carolina's conference struggles continued, as the Pirates dropped two of three to last-place Wichita State over the weekend, falling to 27-21 on the season, and 11-10 in American Athletic Conference play.
The Pirates have now lost four of their last five conference series overall, and 10-of-15 in AAC play since a 6-0 start. With two weeks left in the regular season, ECU will welcome first-place UTSA to town this coming weekend. The Pirates have the week off for exams academically, before recognizing their seniors this weekend inside Clark-LeClair Stadium.

Rollercoaster Season Continues: ECU loses series to Tulane
East Carolina continued its rollercoaster season, losing two of three against Tulane inside Clark-LeClair Stadium over the weekend. The Pirates dropped to 25-19 and down to sixth place in AAC play at 10-8 overall. There are three weeks left in the regular season, with ECU set to go to Elon, and then Wichita State, as part of a four-game road week.

How ECU's shocking weekend impacts the team's postseason chances
After winning five consecutive baseball games, East Carolina shockingly suffered a home sweep at the hands of Florida Atlantic over the weekend. The Pirates went from 6-0 in conference to 6-3 in league play, falling to third place. ECU is now 20-13 overall, with its at-large chances taking a major hit with six weeks left in the regular season, as the RPI dropped into the 90s.
The Pirates will try and bounce back this coming week against NC State on Tuesday, and a weekend road trip to Charlotte.
