Real Christian Answers To AWKWARD Relationship Questions

    12/05/2026 | 44 mins.
Does oral sex count as sex? Can you slap a guy if he gropes you? Why didn’t Jesus ever get married?

In this episode, we answer some of the most awkward, controversial, and honestly fascinating questions Christians secretly wonder about when it comes to sex, relationships, faith, cheating, gaslighting, and marriage.

    Nothing is off limits.

Some of these questions made us laugh. Some got very serious very quickly. And some are the kinds of questions most Christians think about but are too nervous to ask out loud.

    We’ll talk about:
What is actually happening when you “get the ick”

Whether oral sex counts as sex and what the Bible says about sexual boundaries

What grace really means and why it is not permission to keep sinning

How to recognize and respond to gaslighting

How to love someone who believes God hates them because they are gay

Whether God chooses your spouse and how much weight to give prophetic words

Whether it is okay to physically defend yourself if someone crosses a boundary

Why Jesus never got married even though God said it’s not good for man to be alone

How to know when cheating should lead to divorce versus reconciliation

Whether you have to take your husband’s last name

This episode is honest, biblical, practical, and definitely not surface level.

If you’ve ever had a question you felt too embarrassed to ask at church, this conversation is for you.

    Let’s talk about it 👇
    =============================
This is the list of 10 sex acts that Scripture explicitly forbids, as originally compiled by Pastor Mark Driscoll:
    1. Fornication — sex before marriage
    1 Cor 6:18; 1 Thess 4:3–5; Heb 13:4

    2. Adultery — sex with someone outside of your spouse
    Ex 20:14; Matt 5:27–28; Heb 13:4

    3. Polygamy — God designed marriage as one man + one woman; Scripture describes polygamy, it doesn’t prescribe it
    Gen 2:24; Matt 19:4–6; 1 Tim 3:2

    4. Rape
    Deut 22:25–27; 2 Sam 13 (Tamar); Rom 13:10

    5. Incest
    Lev 18:6–18; Lev 20:11–21; 1 Cor 5:1

    6. Homosexuality / same-sex sexual activity
    Lev 18:22; Lev 20:13; Rom 1:26–27; 1 Cor 6:9–10; 1 Tim 1:10

    7. Bestiality
    Ex 22:19; Lev 18:23; Lev 20:15–16

    8. Prostitution
    Lev 19:29; Deut 23:17; Prov 5:3–5; 1 Cor 6:15–16

    9. Sexual immorality (porneia) — catch-all Greek term — lust of the eyes, lusting after anyone who is not your spouse, pornography
    Matt 5:27–28; 1 Cor 6:18; Gal 5:19; Eph 5:3

    10. Pagan sexual activity — sex tied to the worship of false gods or one’s own sexual gratification as an idol
    Ex 34:15–16; Num 25:1–3; 1 Cor 10:7–8; Rev 2:14, 20

On a recent episode of his podcast where he referenced this list, Pastor Josh Howerton added to the list “anything that harms, degrades or is unwanted.”

Asking Older Christian Men (50, 60, 70) What Today’s Dating Culture Gets WRONG

    28/04/2026 | 1h
What do men in their 50s, 60s, and 70s see about dating today that we don’t?

After hearing from single men and married men, the most requested follow-up was this: bring in men who have actually lived it. Decades of marriage. Decades of mistakes, growth, and faith.

    So we did.

We sat down with three older Christian men who have 30 to 50 years of marriage, ministry, and life behind them and asked them the same questions our generation is asking about dating, love, sex, and commitment.

This conversation is less about trends and more about truth that will endure through time.

    We’ll talk about:
How their view of attraction and what really matters has changed over time

What romance actually looks like after decades of marriage

The biggest mistakes they made that younger people should avoid

What they see in today’s dating culture that is harmful or foolish

What actually keeps a marriage alive for 30, 40, 50 years

How to keep pursuing your spouse long after the honeymoon phase

What they would tell their 25 year old selves about relationships

What they think about porn, hookup culture, and sexual temptation today

How to build a marriage that lasts through hard seasons

The most important qualities to look for in a spouse

What they are most proud of when they look at their lives now

This episode is not fast advice. It is long-view wisdom.

If you want a marriage that actually lasts, you need to listen to people who have already done it.

Gen Z Christians Get Brutally Honest About Waiting For Marriage

    14/04/2026 | 1h 5 mins.
In a culture where sex is expected early and often… what does it actually look like to wait? Not as a rule, and not out of fear, but as a real, personal conviction.

In this episode, we sit down with three Gen Z Christians who have chosen to wait for marriage. Not because they think they’re better than anyone else, but because they’re trying to live out what God designed for intimacy and relationships.

We brought both guys and girls into the conversation on purpose, because this hits differently depending on who you are and what you’ve experienced.

And we didn’t keep it surface level. We talked about desire, temptation, dating, boundaries, and the questions most people are thinking but not saying out loud.

    We’ll talk about:
Why they’re actually choosing to wait and how that conviction formed

The stereotypes people assume about them when they find out

Whether waiting feels unrealistic or like they’re “missing out”

How they handle sexual desire, temptation, and intrusive thoughts

Porn, masturbation, and navigating grey areas in relationships

How to communicate boundaries without making it weird

What it’s like dating while holding that line

Whether they’ve lost relationships because of it

What they’d say to someone who feels disqualified because of their past

What they’ve actually gained by choosing to wait

This isn’t a conversation about perfection. It’s about real people trying to follow God in a culture that’s going the opposite direction.

If you’ve ever felt alone in this, confused about what’s right, or unsure if waiting is even worth it… this episode is for you.
