Mike Golic loves golf, and he and his family love to use the game to help others. Golic, who spent 25 years at ESPN after nine years in the NFL, talks about why Notre Dame is so special to him and how the 5th Annual Golic Subpar Celebrity Golf Classic next month means so much to the South Bend, Indiana community.

It has been a family affair in golf for Kevin Hammer, who has just begun a two-year term as USGA President. His Dad, Laurie, won a PGA Tour event with Ryder Cup Captain and PGA Champion Dave Stockton, then went on to a 40-year career as the PGA of America Head Professional at Delray Dunes Golf and Country Club in Florida.
Kevin, who played golf collegiately at the University of Florida, talks about the 2026 U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills, the golf ball rollback, and the exciting USGA initiatives.
