  • Tod Bowers ( Part 2)
This week im chatting I'm chatting to Tod Bowers. In 1998 he helped form The Steepwater Band along with Jeff Massey& Joseph Winters, and over 20 years released 6 studio albums, 2 live albums, a few EPs and numerous singles. Steepwater notoriously known as road-dogs, performed well over 2,500 gigs worldwide, including supporting amazing artists like ZZTop, Gov’t Mule, Wilco, Buddy Guy, Drive-By Truckers, T-Model Ford, Bad Company, Leon Russell, Blackberry Smoke and Taj Mahal. In 2019 he parted ways from Steepwater, and quickly was recruited by Manx-born musician Davy Knowles for his band. Shortly after Tod joining the group, Davy was signed by Mascot Label Group/Provogue Records. In the summer of 2020 Tod joined Davy and the band in the studio to record what would become Davy’s 5th studio album, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT. ► Instagram -https://www.instagram.com/todmichaelbowers/ ► Tod's radio show - https://www.mixcloud.com/tod-michael-bowers/uploads/ Thanks for checking out my channel. • Irish Bassists to know | Watchy
This week I'm chatting to Irish rock bassist Watchy. He is an exciting player who not only releases solo material, holds down the low end in Irish metal behemoths Strangers with Guns but also is one part of a two piece rock band Stitch Jones. Stitch Jones are a drums and bass combo that make a a brilliant racket where Watchy uses effects to create a full sound. ► Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/andsoiwatchyfromafar/ Watchys bands ► Stitch Jones - https://www.instagram.com/stitchjonesmusic/ ► Strangers with Guns - https://www.instagram.com/strangerswithguns/ Thanks for checking out my channel. • Irish Bassists to know | Cormac Moore
This week I'm chatting to Cormac Moore who has been holding down the low end in the house band for The Late Late show since 2009. The show is Ireland's biggest chat show and attracts world famous guests. Cormac has also managed/played in numerous tribute bands and was a founding member of the Camembert Quartet, a musical Comedy Act that started in 2000, made a couple of albums and became the House-band on the Television Show “Tubridy Tonight’ 2004-2009 and the Late Late Show Houseband 2009-2020. Cormac took up double bass in the last 5 years and it was really interesting to hear about his journey on the BIG bass as well other nuggets of information from a long career as a professional bassist. ► Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/moore.cormac/ ► Everything else - https://linktr.ee/cormacmoore73 Thanks for checking out my channel.
