This week, it is Runnin' With The Devil by Noel Monk, "A backstage pass to the wild times, loud Rock, and the down and dirty truth behind the making of Van Halen". Noel Monk was their manager from 1978 until 1985, when he was unceremoniously fired by the Van Halen brothers, and this book lays out all the dirt that was thrown about during that timeframe.

This week, it is STATION ELEVEN by Emily St John Mandel, a Theatre Fiction novel about a flu pandemic causing the collapse of America, and the Traveling Symphony that brings Shakespeare plays to the survivors. The interactions of the characters is nothing short of brilliant, and they all seem to be related in some way to former film actor Arthur Leander. "Station Eleven" is a fictitious graphic novel within this world that ties some together.
