Continuing their City to City series the Kings hitch a ride from the i90 to the i80 and stop in The Star City. Lincoln may not come to mind when talking about the history of punk and hardcore but underneath there is a surprising history of bands and connections to the broader scene. This might not be a super interesting episode to most but there has been some "Drama" regarding our local scene that we simply had to discuss it but there are some great gems in this episode that we think stands up to our strict entertainment standards for our audience. In the city of Rochester we celebrate Pride Month in July, and to do that we covered two bands that we feel are very important in regards to not just LGBT visibility but punk and hardcore; Dicks and Big Boys. Both hailing from Austin TX, we feel they've flown under the radar for the new generation and they deserve the spotlight back on them again.
