  • 30 May 25 – The Book of Tobit Explained
Today's Topics: Gospel - John 16:20-23 - Jesus said to His disciples: “Amen, amen, I say to you, you will weep and mourn, while the world rejoices; you will grieve, but your grief will become joy. When a woman is in labor, she is in anguish because her hour has arrived; but when she has given birth to a child, she no longer remembers the pain because of her joy that a child has been born into the world. So you also are now in anguish. But I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you. On that day you will not question Me about anything. Amen, amen, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My Name He will give you.” 1, 2, 3, 4) Father William Wagner, ORC, joins Terry  to discuss the Book of Tobit and the role of  Angels in the  life of the Covenant, in our relationship with God

  • 29 May 25 – What Is the Future of AI?
Today's Topics: 1) Gospel - Luke 24:46-53 - Jesus said to His disciples: “Thus it is written that the Christ would suffer and rise from the dead on the third day and that repentance, for the forgiveness of sins, would be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. And behold I am sending the promise of My Father upon you; but stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.” Then He led them out as far as Bethany, raised His Hands, and blessed them. As He blessed them He parted from them and was taken up to heaven. They did Him homage and then returned to Jerusalem with great joy, and they were continually in the temple praising God. • 27 May 25 – Seattle Mayor Blames Christian Victims for Attacks by Antifa
Today's Topics: 1) Gospel - John 16:5-11 - Jesus said to His disciples: "Now I am going to the One Who sent Me, and not one of you asks Me, 'Where are You going?' But because I told you this, grief has filled your hearts. But I tell you the truth, it is better for you that I go. For if I do not go, the Advocate will not come to you. But if I go, I will send Him to you. And when He comes He will convict the world in regard to sin and righteousness and condemnation: sin, because they do not believe in Me; righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will no longer see Me; condemnation, because the ruler of this world has been condemned." • 26 May 25 – Good Philosophy Breeds Good Theology
Today's Topics: 1) Gospel - Jn 19:25-34 - Standing by the cross of Jesus were His mother and His mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary of Magdala. When Jesus saw His mother and the disciple there whom He loved, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold, your son.” Then He said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother.” And from that hour the disciple took her into his home. After this, aware that everything was now finished, in order that the Scripture might be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I thirst.” There was a vessel filled with common wine. So they put a sponge soaked in wine on a sprig of hyssop and put it up to His Mouth. When Jesus had taken the wine, He said, “It is finished.” And bowing His Head, He handed over the Spirit. Now since it was preparation day, in order that the bodies might not remain on the cross on the sabbath, for the sabbath day of that week was a solemn one, the Jews asked Pilate that their legs be broken and they be taken down. So the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and then of the other one who was crucified with Jesus. But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His Legs, but one soldier thrust his lance into His side, and immediately Blood and water flowed out. Father Charles Murr joins Terry to discuss the importance of the relationship between good philosophy and good theology, the importance of knowing the Faith, and not straying from the Deposit of Faith Bishop Sheen quote of the day
